After Everything
Hannah Marks and Joey Power are the writers and directors of the 2018 American comedy-drama film After Everything (formerly named Shotgun). The film stars Gina Gershon, Marisa Tomei, DeRon Horton, Sasha Lane, Dean Winters, and Jeremy Allen White. In the same week that Elliot, a reckless 23-year-old living freely in New York City, meets the pragmatic Mia, his world is entirely turned upside down.
The movie shows how much does the two love each other even though going through so much up and downs with amounts of unfortunate situations. Despite the hardship two of them going through, they both hold each other hands to the end, never planned to give up their relationship nor their life. A very well example of love, a proper definition of how love should be no matter how much of obstacles that both are prepared to face.
They learn that everything else is what will really test their relationship, not Elliot’s condition, as their love grows under the craziness of his therapy.

Summary
At the age of 23, both Elliott and Mia were unhappy. Their work was a dead end and they were not satisfied. Elliott wanted to date, but couldn’t find the right job and Mia? Well, her roommate advised her to date, have sex, and have fun with someone, but she’s not that type of girl. At this point, she slept only about two from second grade, compared to Elliott, who was in high school first grade to over 10 years old. But one day they meet while waiting for the train, and thanks to Elliott’s tenacity, it invades her life. It’s not a stalking method, it just looks interesting enough to know. But before they can get to know each other correctly, Elliott finds out that he has Ewing sarcoma (a type of pelvic cancer). Don’t talk to his best friend and roommate Nico, or his parents first. Instead, she ended up talking her to his rocks, chemotherapy, her parents, etc. on her first date with Mia. This leads to how the movie gets its title. She is with him through everything and as he gets better, their relationship begins to erode. After all, does this lead to a question?
